A stock index, or stock market index, is an index that measures a stock market, or a subset of the stock market, that helps investors compare current price levels with past prices to calculate market performance. It is computed from the prices of selected stocks. Two stock market in india are BSC and NSC. BSC(Bombay stock exchange ) BSC is the fist stock exchange in India(1875),located in Bombay and its largest stock exchange in Asia. Sensex  comprises the top 30 companies actively traded in  BSE. Sensex act as index of BSC. We can analyze BSC stocks by using Sensex NSE(National stock exchange) NSC located in Bombay and its established in 1992.NSC introduced first electronic trading in India. NIFTY50 comprises the top 50 companies actively traded in N SE.  Nifty act as index of NSC. We can  analyze NSC stocks by using NIFTY
